What’s buzzing this week? Let Steve Kemble, US Weekly Fashion Police Top Cop, entertainment reporter for the CBS Radio Show – Afternoons with Leigh Ann & Courtney Kerr on KVIL 103.7 www.kvil.com and America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru, fill you in on the news everyone’s going to be talking about:
Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford was ordered by a judge in New York (which she now resides most of the time) in what is turning out to be one of the biggest international custody cases of all time, to return her two children to her ex-husband German businessman, Daniel Giersch, in Monaco where they have resided since 2012. Her kids left immediately with her ex’s Mother to fly 4,000 miles home to Monaco. Giersch claims she defied a European court order and she should have sent the children home four days ago after visitation, so he claims she essentially kidnapped them. Understandably Kelly was shaken after the ruling and said only, “I have no words”, then broke down in tears. However yesterday Kelly said “what the judge did yesterday was shocking, illegal and abusive to my children. Without any legal authority, a judge from the lowest ranking court in the state court system violated the highest ranking federal constitutional rights of my American citizen children.” Another hearing is scheduled regarding the issue of joint custody on September 3, in Monaco. Her ex-husband has VISA issues in the United States, and a judge enforced a court order giving Daniel the right to keep the children in Monaco while he works out residency issues in the US.
Pop-star Meghan Trainor announced via Instagram that she has to cancel the rest of her Train Tour, which was supposed to last through mid-September. She revealed that her vocal chords have suffered another hemorrhage. She went further to say she has been taking precautions, yet a second case of bronchitis caused another injury. She stated she will have surgery and “finally fix this once and for all, and come back even stronger”. Wishing you a very speedy recovery Meghan!
As I reported earlier Sam Smith also had surgery on his vocal chords a few months ago, and just yesterday postponed another concert on his tour. He had resumed since this surgery but doctors are now saying he could damage his chords again, if he does not rest more in between shows. Sam sent a note to his fans saying, “I can’t wait to play for you in a few weeks. And again, I am very sorry.”

Dear Katy, you better not attempt any of Mariah Carey’s holiday classic’s…we don’t want to upset Mariah, oh my!
