What’s buzzing this week? Let Steve Kemble, US Weekly Fashion Police Top Cop, entertainment reporter for the CBS Radio Show – Afternoons with Leigh Ann & Courtney Kerr on KVIL 103.7 www.kvil.com and America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru, fill you in on the news everyone’s going to be talking about:
Sean Penn may have just written an episode of the hit show ‘Empire’! Penn filed a $10 million dollar defamation lawsuit in New York against ‘Empire’ co-creator Lee Daniels. The suit was filed after Daniels compared ‘Empire’ star Terrance Howard’s domestic violence issues to those of Penn. Howard said in a Hollywood Reporter article that “Howard ain’t done nothing different than Marlon Brando or Sean Penn, and all of a sudden he’s some (NAUGHTY WORD!) demon! That’s a sign of the time, of race, of where we are right now in America.” In the lawsuit it says “As a result of Penn’s status as a public figure, he has for years been the subject of scandalous, scurrilous, and baseless attacks…But, Penn, like any citizen, has a right to defend himself and will no longer tolerate the reckless and malicious behavior of others, who seek to aggrandize themselves or their projects at his expense.” Many feel Howard was referencing Penn’s marriage to Madonna.
Blake Shelton is now talking about his dramatic weight loss and revealed it was not because of an exercise routine or diet…well then how did he do it!? Shelton says it was “the stress of getting unhitched”. Shelton was of course referring to his recent divorce from Miranda Lambert. I have to say…he looks amazing! (and so does Miranda by the way!)
One Direction is gearing up to release their fifth album entitled ‘Made In the A.M.’. The album promises to continue to showcase the band’s current mature sound. The jury is still out on if this will indeed be their last…#CollectorsItem.
Usher secretly married his longtime girlfriend Grace Miguel. They had originally planned to wed in Usher’s hometown of Atlanta, but instead opted to elope and then have a secret honeymoon in Cuba! Neither are commenting, but my sources in LA saw Usher at Fetty Wap’s album release party at 1 OAK sporting a wedding band! Nobody hides from me!
Matthew Knowles (as in Beyonce’s Daddy!) has confirmed he is in talks to make a movie or TV biopic on Destiny’s Child! He goes on to say he hopes his daughter and bandmates will reunite to make another album or tour, or both! Knowles still manages the group! Personally, I would love a ‘Bootylicous’ reunion!
