Madonna thought about cancelling her concert in Stockholm on Saturday night following the massacre in Paris, but instead went ahead not wanting the terrorists to win. Before 40,000 people she performed a moving acoustical rendition of ‘Like a Prayer’ with tears streaming down her face. The crowd sat in silence during her powerful, yet beautiful tribute to all those slain and injured.
Jennifer Lawrence opens up with surprising revelations about her personal life in the December issue of Vogue. In the article she says, “I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me. I know where it’s coming from, I know they’re trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I’m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am.” You can read full article when it hits newsstands November 18.
Talk about piling on!! It all started when Holly Holm shocked a UFC 193 crowd by KOing Ronda Rousey in the second round with a crashing kick to the neck! Rousey was transported to an Australian hospital for precautionary reasons. Rousey did reveal she will have plastic surgery on her lip to repair a “very big gash”. Following Holm, Lady Gaga decided to take on Rousey in the social media ‘ring’. Rousey has been taking heat for bad sportsmanship because she would not touch gloves with Holm before the fight. Gaga made reference on her Instagram post that Rousey was disrespecting Holm, and that karma is a b—-h! Following Gaga, Laila Ali decided she would pile on by saying “in order to be the best in the world, you definitely don’t EVER get beat up like that in your prime, period!”. Ali was making reference to the fact that she feels Rousey is overrated. OUCH! I consider that three knock-out’s! Gaga and Ali, love you both and I suggest you watch your backs, Rousey is one tough lady! UFC promises a rematch.
Steve Harvey apparently thinks your standard Gulfstream is not good enough for him (guess he’s never flown commericial middle seat coach)! Harvey signed a contract and leased a jet from Business Aircraft Leasing. In the lease he stipulated $400,000 worth of upgrades including reducing 16 seats to 14, custom seat design, new upper and lower cabin sidewalls, and more! The company said the modifications were made in reliance of the contract, and then Harvey decided he did not want to lease the jet. The company is seeking $205,000.00 minimum.
