What’s buzzing this week? Let Steve Kemble, US Weekly Fashion Police Top Cop, entertainment reporter for the CBS Radio Show – Uncorked Afternoons with Leigh Ann on KVIL 103.7 www.kvil.com and America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru, fill you in on the news everyone’s going to be talking about:

The 2016 Emmy Awards trended on Twitter all night and included surprise winners, deserving winners, first-time winners, political jabs, awards reflecting progress in including diverse performances- all at a brisk pace, thanks in great part to a very aggressive band which included John Mayer speeding up acceptance speeches!

Game of Thrones conquered the Emmy’s by bringing home 12 trophies including being named the top drama for the second consecutive year and becoming the most honored prime time TV series ever, surpassing Frasier.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus won a record-breaking sixth Emmy as the best comedy actress, and Veep repeated as best comedy series.

O.J. had a very good night, in jail! The People vs. O.J. Simpson brought home enough trophies to fill a white bronco including Sarah Paulson’s win for outstanding lead actress for her role as prosecutor Marcia Clark. She brought as her guests’ to the ceremony, the real Marcia Clark!

And yes, those were real Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches made by host Jimmy Kimmel’s mother that the kids from Stranger Things- passed out to audience members- Kimmel said, “I know most of you celebrities have not eaten since Labor Day!”

And we are still wondering exactly how Grease beat Beyoncé’s Lemonade for Best Directing for a Variety Special #waittilkanyefindsout

If there was one fashion trend at this year’s Emmy Awards it was yellow! Minnie Driver, Angela Basset, Taraji P. Henson, Ellie Kemper, Amanda Peet, and Mandy Moore all wore the bright color looking like they could have been Beyoncé’s Lemonade back-up dancers!

On this yellowest of nights, there were some noteworthy fashion standouts!

Kerry Washington is pregnant #dressingfortwo and looked amazing in a gown custom designed, featuring cut-outs by Lady Gaga’s go-to designer Brandon Maxwell.  The actress also wore her hair in a natural style and looked all around fabulous!

In addition to her Emmy, Sarah Paulson deserves another award for her spectacular plunging green sparkling dress by Prada!

Nicey Nash stepped out of her uniform from Scream Queens and into a body-hugging white dress by Christian Siriano that won her rave reviews on the red carpet!

And now for the What Were You Thinking Awards…

I am not sure where to begin with Amy Poehler’s pea green monstrosity. The woman who is known for bringing us to tear induced laughter did it again, yet not in a good way!

But my absolute worst must go to Veep star Anna Chlumsky. No words can describe this pink creation other than to say my sources have told me there is an all points bulletin out for a missing pink bedspread from the Best Western on La Cigna Blvd. in Los Angeles!

Awards shows are in great part all about the After Parties! This is where the real action takes place! I have all the most buzzed about moments for you from the Emmy’s After Parties!

Mr. Ex Taylor Swift Tom Hiddleston and Priyanka Chopra presented together at the Emmy’s. Remember him twirling her as they went onstage. Well, it seems they wanted to keep twirling! The two were spotted at the Governor’s Ball and later #muchlater at the HBO party. My various sources said the following when describing how the two of them interacted and I quote, “openly flirting”, “kissing each other on the cheek”, “she kept adjusting his bow tie”, “he had his arm around her”, “continuously taking selfies together”! Hmmmmm! All of these descriptions sound like phrases out of a Taylor Swift song! Tom and Priyanka, you have been warned!

Meanwhile Emmy winner Amanda Abbington who won for playing Mary Watson in Sherlock told her tablemates at the Governor’s Ball that her purse was stolen during the ceremony when she went up to get her award. She had it under her seat! Seat fillers sit in the seats when the stars get up so the audience is always full for the television cameras. She claims by the time she got back from the Press Room to her seat, her purse was gone! An investigation is under way! I say call Sherlock, STAT!

Comedy Central wins the award for the most creative party giveaway! As guests were leaving the party they were given wrapped to go breakfast sandwiches. The sandwiches had the Comedy Central logo and some advice- it said, “Share With Your UBER Driver!”
