What’s buzzing this week? Let Steve Kemble, US Weekly Fashion Police Top Cop and America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru, fill you in on the news everyone’s going to be talking about:
Celebrities marched throughout the country over the weekend participating in the Women’s March. Drawing the most attention for her remarks was Madonna, so much so that the US Secret Service is now investigating the “Material Girl’s” remarks! Madonna participated in D.C. and in an F-Bomb laden speech with a black “Pussycat” hat atop her head said, “Yes, I am angry, yes I am outraged, yes I thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House”. She went onto to say, “I know this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair”. Following the remarks, social media went wild. Madonna later posted on her Instagram that she meant no harm, and her remarks are being taken “wildly out of context”. Other celebrities who participated in various walks included, Ashley Judd, Katy Perry, John Legend, Maggie & Jake Gyllenhaal, Charlize Theron, Chelsea Handler, Scarlett Johansson, Miley Cyrus, Jane Fonda, Amy Schumer, Alicia Keys, Cher and more!
First Lady Melania Trump has already met with Interior Designer and the White House Chief Curator about changes the Trump family will make to the White House during their four-year residency. Each family does have the right to make changes, but the Committee for Preservation of the White House must approve them. No changes are allowed to the Lincoln Bedroom, the Green Room or the State Dining Room. Three changes were already noted as Trump sat in the Oval Office following his Inauguration and those included changing the Crimson drapes from the Obama Presidency out for Gold drapes (I predict we will see lots of Gold in the White House, ala Trump Tower), and the oval rug President Obama used was replaced by one with Sunburst Yellow and Gold designed by Laura Bush and used during the Bush era. Additionally, it appears the gray suede sofa’s Obama had in the oval office have been replaced with brocade sofa’s. The government will pay for $100,000.00 worth of the changes, yet it is not known if the Trump’s will accept the money, or pay for any changes on their own.
The Sundance Film Festival is underway and celebrity sightings are in full swing on Main Street in Park City, Utah. Those spotted so far include founder Robert Redford, Elle Fanning, Jon Hamm, Jack Black, Leslie Mann, Anne Heche, Kristen Stewart, Jenifer Aniston, Armie Hammer, Genna Davis and Jason Segel! And the week has only begun!
Kim Kardashian West is boasting that she has talked hubby Kanye West into appearing on the upcoming season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s!” Really, she had to convince him? In past seasons West has only before been seen in the background of various scenes, with not any really big plot lines, He was recently seen filming a lunch scene in Calabasas with Kim and her sister Kourtney. No word yet on how the show will address Kim’s Paris heist and Kanye’s hospital stay.
