Steve Kemble Logo 2016What’s buzzing this week? Let Steve Kemble, US Weekly Fashion Police Top Cop and America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru, fill you in on the news everyone’s going to be talking about:

Donald J. Trump will take the Oath of Office as the 45th President of the United States (holding two bibles, President Lincoln’s and one his mother gave him) at his $200 million dollar inauguration on Friday, January 20, 2017. America’s Got Talent 2010 First Runner-Up Jackie Evancho will sing the national anthem. While it is his inauguration, most eyes will be on his wife Melania and what she is wearing! Many designers throughout the world have been very public about the fact that they will not dress her because of her husband’s belief’s however, many have said they would love too! My sources in New York are predicting she may have gone to American designer Ralph Lauren for her inaugural wardrobe. During the campaign Lauren dressed her twice, first for the third debate where she wore the black “pussybow” jumpsuit (if you are thinking wasn’t this the debate immediately following “the conversation” Trump had with Billy Bush, you’re right!), and the other time was on election night where she wore the striking white jumpsuit.  Lauren also did many of Hillary Clinton’s outfits during the campaign.

First daughter Ivanka Trump will also be front and center at all the festivities over the three-day inauguration. Ivanka known for wearing her own brand has not released any information regarding her wardrobe. She could possibly wear her brand, although she has stated she is taking a “formal leave of absence from her company”. She wore a fitted pink shift dress from her label to the republican convention and a $10,800.00 bangle bracelet from her label on 60 Minutes that caused much controversy.

The incoming President selects the theme for their inauguration and Trump has chosen his campaign theme “Make America Great Again”. Trump’s staff is saying the inauguration is for the people, not A-List celebrities. The celebrity list is being closely guarded, and my sources are saying that’s because they are not attending. Those that I have been able to confirm include country singer Toby Keith, Caitlyn Jenner, and Jon Voight. Trump’s staff went further to say, “we are swearing-in the greatest celebrity in the world, why would we want to have a bunch of people who think they are A-List celebrities”. Casino mogul Steve Wynn a member of the committee is trying to secure more celebrities to attend, but word is he is having no luck.

The day will start with the Obama’s hosting the Trump’s for coffee (or tea) at the White House. The four will then head to the Capitol for the swearing-in ceremony. Following the ceremony, the Trumps and Vice President Pence and his wife will go to a luncheon hosted by Congress. Following the luncheon, the President and First Lady will walk down Pennsylvania Avenue during the official parade. The parade is slated to last only 90 minutes (traditionally it is four hours). The parade is where the New York City Rockettes will perform (despite protest from many in New York and some of Rockette’s themselves). Later that evening the Trump’s will attend three official Inaugural Balls (the Obama’s had 10 and the Bush’s had 8). Following the day’s activities, President (at this point former President) Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama and their family will jet off to Palm Springs (he promised his family they would go someplace warm following his Presidency) for some much deserved R&R. Upon their return, the Obama’s will reside in a very chic D.C. neighborhood. Trump will reside in the White House and the First Lady will join him at the earliest in May once their son Barron completes school in New York.
