What’s buzzing this week? Let Steve Kemble, US Weekly Fashion Police Top Cop and America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru, fill you in on the news everyone’s going to be talking about:

Last night Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour hosted the Met Ball benefitting the Metropolitan Museum of Art. At the event known to many as the “Oscars of New York”, or my personal favorite “Fashion Prom” guests pay a minimum of $30,000 for an individual ticket and up to $500,000 for a table. Just because you can afford to buy a ticket does not mean you can attend, Wintour personally approves all guests! This year’s event chairs were Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams. In 2004 President Donald Trump proposed to his wife Melania during the Gala.

Kelly Ripa has announced Ryan Seacrest as her permanent “Live” co-host after a steady stream of co-host for nearly a year after Michael Strahan’s departure for Good Morning America last May! You might recall Ripa actually left the show herself for two days in protest of how the entire Strahan departure was handled. Seacrest will spend four days a week in New York and the rest of the time in Los Angeles.

There is a new DIVA in town! Zayn Malik was spotted LITERALLY being wheeled into girlfriend Gigi Hadid’s New York apartment. What happened to his foot that needed a wheelchair instead of crutches is still being labeled a “mystery”. Malik recently revealed the nicknames he and his supermodel girlfriend have for each other! He calls her Gee and she calls him Zee! He went on to say “we have other nicknames for each, but I will keep those private”. Gee and Zee are nice, yet what I want to know and be assured I am trying to find out, what are those private nicknames…OH MY!

Michael Douglas first let it slip in an interview that he was concerned about the health of his former “Ghost and the Darkness” co-star Val Kilmer, and wished him the best. Douglas referenced oral cancer he battled and said Val Kilmer was dealing with the same form of cancer. Upon hearing this Kilmer denied the rumor and did so for over a year. Douglas apologized. Kilmer has now admitted he is indeed healing from cancer. We wish him the best.
